Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine has been used for over 2,000 years and is based upon the principles of “the way of nature” or Tao. Understanding the different elements of nature and the cycle of Qi (pronounced chi), the Chinese built a system of medicine to help create balance and harmony of yin and yang, within the body- like the flow of nature.
Qi is the life force or energy that circulates around our body and through our environment. If the flow of Qi is disrupted, the body fails to maintain a healthy balance, and disease or illness follows.
Acupuncture is the painless insertion of the finest, sterile needles along specific healing points on the body, to adjust the flow of Qi.
Your treatment will include a of blend acupuncture, cupping and moxibustion tailored to your unique needs and constitution.
Moxibustion is a traditional Chinese therapy used for improving the circulation of blood and Qi through the meridians. Moxa herb (mugwort) is burnt and the warming ember is placed near the body to create a warming effect to the points. Moxa is used to warm regions and acupuncture points of the body with the intention of stimulating circulation through the points and inducing a smoother flow of Qi and blood.

How It Works
Deep tissue massage uses specialized techniques to work beneath the surface, targeting muscles and fascia at their deeper levels.
